There’s magic in Milburn Creek’s 2020 draft of 11 colts and 3 fillies. John Muir has been breeding quality thoroughbreds over a long period, but the excitement and challenges this endeavour presents still inspires him to rise to greater heights each year with Milburn Creek. He had the following thoughts on the upcoming 2020 Magic Millions.
The investment and level of competition provided by a wide range of participants over the past two decades means we can’t rest on our laurels. The best stallions in the world are all here for our breeding season, the sensational prizemoney available in Australia attracts serious investors and horseplayers from around the globe, so to be competitive we have to offer a quality product.
“I’m confident that from our magnificent property here at Wildes Meadow in the NSW Southern Highlands, with outstanding horseman Scott Holcombe and his team preparing the yearlings and with the constant upgrading of our broodmare band, that we an offer buyers the top quality yearlings they are seeking.”
“This Magic Millions draft is a shining example of what we can produce at Milburn Creek. The 14 youngsters we are taking to the Gold Coast are by leading commercial sires, out of young mares and with early foaling dates, they are ideal Magic Millions types.”
“Scott and I look forward to parading them for inspection and catching up with both our regular clients and hopefully some new ones too in January.”
