One of the standouts is the tough multiple Gr.1 winner Volkstok’n’barrell ($50,000) who has earnings over $1.4million and is still racing as an eight year-old. Gr.2 ARC Royal Stakes winner Hello It’s Me ($28,000) took her record to five wins recently and earnings of $130,000, while Gr.3 winner The Soultaker ($50,000) has been onsold to Hong Kong, and his earnings are over NZ$240,000.
Scott Eagleton said, “The farm is ticking over nicely. We are still foaling 130 mares for clients and walking them out to stallions. We are fortunate to have some very loyal clients who are preparing nice horses for sales. The farm keeps producing good horses, and those results help.
In 2020, we are looking forward to the Messara report coming to fruition and in turn that will bolster investment, especially into the middle market.”
Some other Seaton Park graduates to keep in your black book include Tivaan Warrior, who has had only the two starts as a two year-old this season, both in stakes company including fourth in the Gr.2 Wakefield Challenge Stakes in early December 2019, Gr.2 placed winner Langkawi trained by P McKay, Gr.3 placed and recent Moonee Valley winner Arctic Shock trained by Team Meagher, promising Australian city winner Matowi trained by Chris Waller, and recent Hong Kong winners Flying Victory and Solar Wai Wai.
In 2020, Seaton Park will present nineteen yearlings across all three books. In book one, four yearlings with superb pedigrees will catch the eyes of many good judges. The only colt in Seaton Park’s book one draft is Lot 568, by first season sire and Gr.1 winner Tivaci, out of Gr.1 placed winner Eliza Blues, a full sister to group the winner Old Belvedere. “I’m really pleased with the entire draft this year. They are a very even bunch of horses, and the Tivaci colt from Eliza Blues is a mouthwatering type, a really lovely horse.”
A half-sister to Seaton Park sold stakes placed winner Arctic Shock is Lot 437, and this Vadamos filly is out of Gr.3 Winter Cup winner Art Beat, herself a half-sister to group winner Perfect Start. “She’s a nice type and there is a lot of upside to her with the mare doing well in Australia.” From the same family is Lot 289, a Preferment filly who is the first foal of stakes placed winner Smartly, a half-sister to the aforementioned Art Beat and Perfect Start.
Proven sire Darci Brahma is represented by Lot 204, the first foal of winning mare Pushtheboundaries, herself a daughter of Gr.1 winner Honor Bound (granddam of Singapore stakes winner Alibi).

Reliable Man has started his stud career well with two Gr.1 Oaks winners in Miami Bound and Sentimental Miss, which should ensure all his fillies are on everyone’s inspection lists. A filly with residual value is Lot 1084, a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Sea Lord, and group placed winner Dreamcrafter. This Reliable Man filly has a strong family behind her, with her dam Dream Lass being a half-sister to three stakes winners.
A pair of Zacinto colts have pedigrees to appeal to Hong Kong buyers, with Lot 860 being a half-brother to Hong Kong winner Fulfil a Wish, who ran second in the Listed Hong Kong Macau Trophy, and this colt’s dam, Silky Oak, has
also left an Australian city winner. Lot 915 is a full brother to Namjong Plus (Zacinto) who has won five races in Hong Kong, and his dam Volkara (Volksraad) is a winning close relation to Gr.1 winner and Champion Sprinter Vinaka (Volksraad).

Proven sire Pins has a colt, Lot 1106, who is the first foal of winning mare Falena, herself a half-sister to Gr.2 placed winner of seven races Fiorano.
“He is as good a Pins colt as you’d ever see. Just the sort you’d want to buy, a bit of scope and size and a real athlete.”
Power has begun his stud career well, and his colt, Lot 970, is the second foal of stakes placed winner Aaja Nacle, who is a daughter of stakes winning sprinter Madhuri Dixit. Proven sire Iffraaj has a nicely bred filly on offer as Lot 1003, being the second foal of a four race winning full sister to Gr.3 winner Old Belvedere and also to Gr.1 placed winner Eliza Blues. Also by Power is Lot 1169, a filly out of winning mare Ma Belle Ami (Commands), herself a half-sister to group placed winners Laaffaire and Dorian Grey.
